Not us. I guess that’s pretty clear since “mimosa” is part of our name.
We love mimosas, especially with brunch.
We love it so much we sipped on some when we started this blog!
And, of course, to celebrate Mother’s Day! ( with “Moms” being another part of our name)
So, you can imagine that when the Recipe Redux challenge arose to create “probiotic cocktails/gut health mocktails,” we just had to tweak the mimosa the Mimosa Moms way.
This is what we came up with: Raspberry Kombucha Mimosas.
First, throw in raspberries. Some fun facts about raspberries: Raspberries are an excellent source of vitamin C, manganese and dietary fiber. They are a very good source of copper and a good source of vitamin K, pantothenic acid, biotin, vitamin E, magnesium, folate, omega-3 fatty acids and potassium. Translation: raspberries contain anti-inflammatory properties and lots of antioxidants that may reduce your risk of cancer and heart disease. They are a good source of prebiotics and the perfect complement to this probiotic drink.
Second, add a splash of raspberry (or orange) flavored kombucha. This fermented beverage supports gut health and lends a nice flavor to the drink. Other benefits of kombucha include boosting immunity and support the heart, lungs and mental health. Another idea for kombucha is in tea form, pomegranate green tea kombucha.
Ta-Da! The finished product…
