Have you every heard of a cooking club for kids? I hadn’t.
Enter: Raddish (As a lover of puns, I am a huge fan of the name. It’s a rad dish. Get it?)
After you sign up for a membership, your kids will receive a monthly box, each with a new exciting theme to explore. Ours was Greek cuisine.
Each kit includes the following:
* recipe cards
* conversation starter cards
* apron patch
* culinary tool
* specific culinary lesson
* grocery list
The girls enjoyed Raddish from start to finish. They were so excited to receive a box with their names on it. We went shopping together, prepped and cooked the meal, and enjoyed every bite. The food was delicious, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Our little one had a harder time with some parts of the preparation, but that gave big sis an opportunity to teach. We all learned lots of fun facts about Greece and food safety!
Our Greek feast included lemon garlic soup, chicken souvlaki and spanakopita.
To document our journey in making spanakopita, we thought it would be fun to share some of our pics.
