Vegan Chocolate Cookies

Perfect pairing for vegan gelato, try these cookies for a vegan alternative to the traditional cookie.

  • 1/2 Cup Vegan butter
  • 1/2 Cup Brown sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Maple syrup
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla extract
  • 3/4 Cup Cocoa powder Unsweetened
  • 1 Tsp Baking soda
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tb Soy milk Unflavored
  • 3.5 Oz Vegan chocolate chips
  • 1 Cup Flour


  1.  Preheat the oven to 350°F. 

  2. Mix dry ingredients together: flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the vegan butter and sugar. Throw in the dry ingredients and mix. Add soy milk until you make a cookie dough. 

  4. Mix in chocolate chips. 

  5. Roll into small balls and space on a lined baking tray. 

  6. Bake for ten minutes. Cool. Enjoy as cookies or with Vixen Kitchen gelato for the perfect, vegan treat.
