Oat Milk

Simple, healthy plant-based milk

  • 3/4 c Rolled oats gluten-free
  • 4 c water
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract optional


  1. Combine oats and water in blender- blend for 30 seconds (do not over-blend! Will result in slimy texture)

  2. Strain twice with fine-mesh metal strainer (not recommended to use a nut milk bag as it lets too much pulp through

  3. Add vanilla extract and mix. 

    Store in airtight container for up to 5 days in refrigerator. FYI, a small amount of oat pulp might settle at bottom of jar during storage- simply shake before serving to incorporate. 

    Optional: flavor with 1.5 tbs cocoa powder for chocolate milk or 1/4 c fresh berries (blended) for berry milk flavor.
