Peel and cut up apples into small, evenly sized pieces
Turn stove to low-medium heat. Add water to pan.
Add apples and cinnamon to pan, stir frequently.
Cook apples until they start to soften, about 7 minutes.
Mix in oats & almond meal and continue to stir another 3-4 minutes.
Spoon mixture into ramekins or small serving bowls.
Option to top with toasted nuts or dollop of frozen yogurt.
